Jennifer Rose

OWNER & CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Originally from coastal Maine, Jennifer Rose is a genuine adventurer. Whether it’s whitewater rafting in Costa Rica, backpacking through Thailand, exploring ruins in Peru or swimming through the caves of Mexico, she loves the thrill of exploration and the unknown. This thrill of adventure is what got her into the business world. She started her own design company at the young age of 23 and taught herself the ins and outs of the industry.

Right from the beginning, she knew success and became the Creative Director of Premier Bride Magazine, Wise Magazine, RideMaine and CruiseMaine publications. She’s also enjoyed success as a large format and fine art print specialist at an agency in DC.

After a few years, Jennifer decided to push forward into new frontiers and founded the Wildfire Ladies Cigar Society in 2015, which was one of the first women’s cigar clubs established in the U.S. and now has a worldwide following.

On a personal note, Jennifer is passionate about working with small businesses and non-profits as much as she loves painting, finding amazing scotches, reading Stephen King, and indulging her love affair with coffee. She’s the mother to two teenage daughters and a sweet pitbull named Tyson who also happens to be the company mascot.

Alyse Whitcomb

Alyse Whitcomb is the vino and food expert of Nordika and also runs Metroplex Munchies, the premier blog for food in DFW. She joined the Nordika team in October of 2017. She’s no stranger to travel, having been born in San Anotonio and raised in beautiful Hawaii. She’s an avid reader, painter and photographer. Somehow she manages all of this and is continuing her education at Tarrant County College, finishing her degree in Graphic Design (though she has plenty of experience!) and she has received a Certificate in Photographic Retouching. Lana Hayes

Lana will be handling all of our Administrative tasks as well as assisting with social media research/analytics/reporting – not to mention keeping us all organized. She is currently attending Penn State World Campus and is a year shy of graduating with her B.S in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. After completion of her B.S she hopes to attend Law School at Texas A&M in downtown Fort Worth.

Born and raised in Fort Worth Texas, Lana is a Texas girl through and through. She is married to a Retired Marine and has 2 beautiful girls who are the light of her life. Both girls, ages 15 and 9 are into singing and are currently signed with a local recording agency!
